Our summer garden is certainly starting to wane. Fall is coming.

After a long summer of growing, I decided it was finally time to pull the carrots. The thing about growing carrots is you never really know what the heck is going on. You just have to trust that the carrots are growing. Patience is key!

The healthy carrots that didn’t crack were stunning! Vibrant orange with green leafy tops. They were slightly bitter, but still tasty. The satisfaction and pride in growing your own vegetables is just about enough to make you eat them, even if they’re not that great.
