My good friend and teammate from college (we played golf together at Vanderbilt) was in town this past weekend visiting from Atlanta. I just love when she’s working on projects in the northwest and she swings on by for a visit. The best part about having a visitor in town is that you get to show them all of your favorite places. Friday night we grabbed drinks and dinner at Red Hills Market!
My friend Julie loves anything with blue cheese, and I couldn’t wait for her try the roast beef sandwich. The sandwich is opened faced with blue cheese and caramelized onions on a fresh toasted roll straight from the wood-fired pizza oven. I just knew she was going to love it!
I get super excited about sharing great food with friends, and watching her enjoy the roast beef sandwich was fantastic!
We also shared the Cured Meat and Cheese Plate and the American Coppa Pizza.
It was a lovely way to end the week, sitting on the back porch catching up over a beer. We may have been in Dundee, but for a second it sure felt like we were back in Nashville!
