I look forward to Saturday mornings all week, it’s a chance for The Renaissance Man and I to catch up and check-in. Lately I’ve been making blueberry oatmeal and The Renaissance Man and I set down and enjoy a pot of tea together. This usually involves reading The Newberg Graphic or any other magazines we received in the mail during the week.
This Saturday we used the new teacups that I purchased Friday night at Pulp & Circumstance! The teacups are actually soup bowls made by a local artist Bradley Speer who owns Bradley Ceramics. But to me, they’re perfect teacups for rich earthy pu-erh tea.
The glaze on the cups is a light mustard yellow and becomes a deep caramel brown on the inside. Each one is completely unique and they fit perfectly in your cupped hands. The teacups don’t have handles, so you can feel the temperature of the tea, no burnt tongues here! Seriously though, if you happen to be in the area check out Bradley Ceramics.
I’m already looking forward to Saturday morning!
