Back in November, we spent a lovely day wine tasting with some friends and family visiting from the East Coast. The Renaissance Man and I love hosting people in Wine Country because the possibilities are endless when it comes to showing people a good time. The Willamette Valley has so much to offer!
Since we had such a large group of people, Anne Amie Vineyards was the perfect place to accommodate everyone. The day was crisp and cool and Anne Amie had plenty of room inside their beautiful tasting room.
My favorite wine of the tasting was the 2011 Prismè Pinot Noir Blanc ~ notes of caramel, ripe fig, fennel, baked apples, candied ginger, crème brulèe, panna cotta, graham cracker, nutmeg, and lemon
Beautiful wine decanters made by Esque Studio in Portland, Oregon.
The warm fall sunlight paired with friends and family made for the perfect afternoon.
